What is CLIC?
The 12-month pilot project, funded by the Innovate UK Further Education Innovation Fund, will help businesses across the Glasgow City Region gain access to comprehensive support and guidance on embedding and embracing digital technologies within their organisations.
Support will range from advisory services to workforce and skills development, as well as hands-on assistance in adopting new technologies, processes, and business models. Our aim is to engage with more than 200 businesses across Glasgow, Inverclyde, North and South Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire, and West Dunbartonshire through our 6 dedicated centres, including:
- Centre for Digitally Enabled Health - New College Lanarkshire
- Centre for Sustainable Development – South Lanarkshire College
- Centre for Advanced Manufacturing – West College Scotland
- Centre for Innovation Leadership – City of Glasgow College
- Centre for Digital Enablement – Glasgow Kelvin College
- Centre for Digital Creativity – Glasgow Clyde College
Centre for Digitally Enabled Health
New College Lanarkshire's Centre for Digitally Enabled Health will provide a wide range of fully-funded support to healthcare organisations across the Glasgow City Region. While the focus will include Dentistry and Dementia Care, support is not restricted to these areas. Services offered include bespoke technical training, guidance to help organisations identify digital innovations, relevant skills training for healthcare employees, and assistance in arranging access to collaborative opportunities.
