Phlebotomy
Overview
A combination of theory and practice covering all the essential knowledge in Phlebotomy. You will have an opportunity to practise blood taking on mannequins.
Please note that you are required to pay the fee for this course before a place can be offered.
Entry
Individuals must be currently working in the health care sector, in a role where they will practise venepuncture.
This course is only suitable for people who are working in a role within GP surgeries, carers or senior carers working in a care home environment, applicants who do not meet this criteria will not be accepted on this course.
For those working in the NHS they should seek advice through their own practice development team.
