NQ Introduction to Law with Criminology
Overview
This is an entry-level, introductory into the world of Law and Criminology. You will cover various aspects of Law including Scots Law, Property Law and more. This course provides an insight into the varied aspects of the legal sector and the many career options available.
You will be assessed on an ongoing basis using practical assessments, assignments and case studies. There is no final examination.
Entry
Three qualifications at SCQF Level 5 (e.g. National 5/Intermediate 2/Standard Grades at credit level) or a group of relevant units at SCQF Level 5. Applicants should have English/Communication at SCQF Level 4/5. Those with alternative relevant experience and learning may be considered following discussion with the Course Leader.
Please note: each applicant is considered on an individual basis and previous work experience and prior learning will be taken into consideration.

You will also learn about Crime in Society and gain a general understanding of consumer and investor protection and employment Law. Throughout the course you will develop and enhance your skills in areas such as employability.
