NC Manufacturing Engineering Day Release - Year 2

Overview

In this NC Manufacturing Engineering course, you will learn both traditional and modern manufacturing processes with the accompanying theory. You could learn how to turn and mill in our workshop that is used to train Modern Apprentices before they go into the workplace. You will also learn the fundamentals of CNC and Computer-aided Draughting.

 

Entry

Applicants must be employed as a trainee and/or apprentice in a related industry at time of application. Employer references are required.

  • 3 National grades at levels 4 or 5, Standard Grade passes in English, Mathematics and a Technical subject

or

  • equivalent group of modules/units.

Successful completion of Performing Engineering Operations Qualification and satisfactory completion of an aptitude test.
