HNC Social Services - Day Release
Overview
Are you currently working in the social care sector and are looking to complete your HNC Social Services course for registration with the SSSC?
We are pleased to invite applications from anyone who is currently working in social services for a minimum of 16 hours per week.
This course is designed primarily for the requirement of your registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Entry
We are pleased to invite applications from anyone with experience of working in social services for a minimum of 16 hours per week. You will also require:
- 1 satisfactory reference from current employee
Learn
The course includes the mandatory units of the SVQ Social Services and Health Care Level 3 (you may already have this which we will discuss with you on application).
Other units delivered include:
- Care in Contemporary Society
- Health, Wellbeing and Safeguarding
- Lifespan Development: Theoretical Approaches
- Leadership Starts with Me
Also includes; The Graded Unit.
