HNC Electrical Engineering Year 1 - Day Release
Overview
This course is delivered on a day release option one day per week for two years. You will undertake twelve units from the SQA HNC curriculum which is the minimum number of units to achieve a qualification.
This course will develop your theoretical and practical knowledge of the electrical engineering industry, as well as helping with the specific skills you'll need to succeed. You'll be taught by staff with significant engineering experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students. Throughout the course, you'll be continually assessed and you'll have the ability to discuss your evaluation of modules.
Entry
Applicants must be employed as a trainee and/or apprentice in a related industry at time of application. Employer references are required.
- Two Higher Grades in Maths or Physics and English
or
- NC or HNC in a suitable Engineering or Engineering Practice or any suitable discipline area.
