HNC Dental Nursing
Overview
This course will provide the underpinning knowledge, skills and expertise to register with the General Dental Council as a qualified Dental Nurse. This course includes a practice placement within a dental setting to develop enhanced skills, knowledge and expertise.
Entry
Successful completion of Level 6 in Dental Nursing.
Or two Highers at Grade C or above, one of which should be English.
Participation at an information session, skills assessment and interview forms part of the selection criteria.
Your place on the course will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Scotland check in the form of an enhanced PVG.
You will be required to be immunised in line with Occupational Health's recommendation.
