Overview

This SQA Unit provides learners an understanding of what constitutes a crime in Scotland and the main principles involved in prosecution of crime.  The nature
of crime and its effects on the individual and the community will be explored. This Unit intends to encourage learners to reflect on crime and become more aware of its implications.

Nat 5/standard grade level qualifications in English and/or a social science subject would be preferred

Examine the concepts of criminal behaviour and how criminal behaviour may affect the individual and the community.
